Banno chickens will NOT be Available for delivery/collection until MID DECEMEBER.
The Bannockburn Free Range Chickens are locally grown to meet the Free Range Authority guidelines. They are approximately 1.5kg in weight, so will comfortably feed 5 – 6 people.
If you are after something a little larger we do have size 20 (2kg) and size 26 (2.6kg) roasting chickens available.
Cooking
Temperature
Pre heat oven to 180º fan forced.
Time
1 hour per kg at 180º
Bannockburn Free Range chicken – 1.5 hours at 180º
Remove from oven and rest for 10 – 15 mins covered with foil. Carve and serve.
Internal temp should be 75º
